Even though I go walking here all the time, I just never get tired of it. This place, Cleeve Common, is just so dramatic and seems to offer a completely new set of views every time I go. This is a walk down the Cotswold Way from the Cleeve Golf Club, joining up with the Isbourne Way, and then coming straight up over Cleeve Hill, a 300m ascent at an incredibly steep grade. The pool shown is man made- it was once a "sheep dip" used to clean sheep before they were shorn. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend this walk!
Welcome to The Cotswolds!
I love the English Cotswolds and think everyone should visit this beautiful place at least once in their lifetime. Having lived all over the world and traveled as much as possible, I still think that this little part of England is one of the world's greatest treasures. This site is dedicated to helping spread the word and encourage sustainable travel to the Cotswolds.

Cleeve Common
Went for a nice walk around Cleeve Common the other day. Mostly along the Cotswold Way, near the ridge looking out over Cheltenham and Bishop's Cleeve. Started as a rainy evening, but became a really beautiful night with a great sunset.
